All of our masks are 22% perforated to ensure maximum patient stability and are suitable for the stabilisation of patients receiving IMRT and 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy Treatments.
 

Features of our Thermoplastic Masks

• Superior Memory Characteristics - Our masks can be remoulded and reused 3-5 times without significant structural weakening, maintaining mask integrity and stability. Ideal for scheduled IMRT resimulation and unplanned resimulation due to significant patient contour change.
   

• Biodegradable and Environmentally Friendly - Our masks are made from Polycaprolactone; a biodegradable polyester that will degrade in soil through naturally occurring biological processes over a period of 16 months.
   

• Non-Stick Surface - Our masks will not adhere to the patients’ skin or hair. Furthermore, the thermoplastic material will not fold upon or stick to itself, resulting in a smooth moulding process for the patient and practitioner.
   

• Rounded and Strengthened Edges – The rounded and strengthened edges reduce the risk of harming the patient’s skin whilst obtaining a firm and stable fixation.
